Jailbreak: หลุดภาพ New iPad Jailbreak บน iOS 5.1.1 สำเร็จแล้วจ้า!




Jailbreak อัพเดทข่าวล่าสุดกัน เมื่อล่าสุด Stefan Esser หรือที่รู้จักกันในวงการแฮคเกอร์กันดีในนามของ i0n1c แห่ง Chronic Dev Team
ได้โพสต์ภาพยั่วน้ำลายเหล่าสาวก Apple สายมืดทั้งหลายซึ่งเป็นภาพของ New iPad บนระบบปฏิบัติการ iOS 5.1.1 เวอร์ชันล่าสุดที่ได้รับการ Jailbreak และเปิดใช้งาน Cydia เรียบร้อยแล้วนั่นเอง

อย่างไรก็ตามทางด้านของ i0n1c เองยังไม่ได้เปิดเผยออกมาว่า New iPad Jailbreak ของเขานั้นใช้วิธีการใดกันแน่หรือเป็น Jailbreak เวอร์ชันไหนก็ตาม
แต่ถ้าหากออกมาโพสต์ภาพกันอย่างโจ๋งครึ่มแบบนี้นั่นก็หมายความว่าโปรแกรม iOS 5.1.1 Jailbreak สำหรับอุปกรณ์ iDevice
ที่ใช้งานชิปเซ็ตตระกูล A5 ทั้งหลายไม่ว่าจะเป็น New iPad, iPad 2 หรือแม้กระทั่ง iPhone 4S คงไม่ต้องรอกันให้หงายเงิบอีกนานแน่นอน!

ข่าวดีมาอีกแล้ว คาดว่าอีกไม่นานแน่นอน มีภาพหลุดออกมาขนาดนี้ เหลือแต่ว่าพร้อมจะปล่อยเมื่อไหร่เท่านั้น

The new iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak tool will likely be called Absinthe 2.0



With the iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak right around the corner, work has apparently started on packaging the exploits into a tool that your average iOS device owner can utilize.

Tools like GreenPois0n and RedSn0w take 99% of the guess work out of the jailbreaks, making it so that almost anyone can take advantage of the benefits that jailbreaking brings to the table.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise that the highly anticipated 5.1.1 jailbreak will follow the same pattern. Judging from a conversation I had with an iOS hacker close to pod2g, it appears that the latest jailbreak tool in the pipeline will retain the Absinthe name.

In other words, I’d say it’s totally reasonable to expect an Absinthe 2.0 iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak sometime within the next few days…

Some facts about the 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak

@MuscleNerd wrote a quick sheet about the upcoming tools (link).

I won't rephrase him, so here are the contents of the file at the time of writing :

* All info below is tentative and subject to last minute refinements
* @pod2g's 5.1.1 jailbreak+untether is working out great. All devices are covered except for AppleTV3,1, which currently has no path for jailbreaking.
- the initial 5.1.1 plan used a kernel exploit from @westbaer which unfortunately precluded use in iPod3,1 and iPhone2,1
- @planetbeing stepped up and provided a kernel exploit that covers both of those. Those two JBers are the bomb!
* The 5.1.1 A5 JB is very similar to the A5 5.0.1 JB. @pimskeks has done a tremendous job supporting both 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 in absinthe
* Similar to 5.0.1, there will also be a 5.1.1 CLI "cinject" binary and redsn0w version of the 5.1.1 JB+untether. Absinthe, cinject, and redsn0w will all provide the same JB in different fashions.
- timing is indeterminate. Plans are for this week, but a number of factors can influence that.
